NERDFEST is an drug and alcohol free event open to all ages. We have a strict set of rules which we enforce to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time and we are able to provide a favourable environment to everyone. NERDFEST is a 24-hour event with gamers able to stay and play throughout the night or go home and come back the next morning.
What it is: NERDFEST is an BYOC (bring your own computer) event, we provide tables, chairs, power layout, networking gear and gaming servers so all the participants have to do is bring their computer (Box, monitor, keyboard, mouse, power cables, (optional)headphones). Throughout the night we run tournaments in specific games and try to offer prizes to the winners of each specific session. There are also other activities including console gaming, a large screen TV and a projector, pizza run and other activities to keep the participants interested.
Each participant is charged a fee of $25 to cover the costs of hiring the venue, table and equipment with all profit being put back into the event to purchase our own equipment. (A non profit event)
Sponsors: NERDFEST is looking for some sponsors who are able to donate items that can be given as prizes on the night to participants. If you are interested in sponsoring us please email stephen(at)nerdfestonline(dot)com
